Abnormal uterine bleeding can be defined as a significant deviation from patient's usual menstrual cycle of 26-28 days. Symplocos Racemosa arrests uterine haemorrhages and abnormal secretion. It is blood static. Withania somnifera is a potent rejuvenator. It acts as a health restorative. Mesua ferra has astringent action. It is an antiseptic also. Areca Catechu is astringent and useful in menorhagia. Bombax Malabaricum is useful in weakness of the genital organs and in most of the disorders in which gentian and calumba are resorted to. It has good effect in gonorrhoea, gleet and chronic cystitis.
