Description:
Leucorrhea is a disease of genitalia. It is characterized by yellowish, whitish discharge, with foul odor, burning and itching sensation.
A physiological discharge is vaginal discharge of cervical and vaginal secretion, epithelial cells and bacterial flora. The normal pH rages from 3.8 to 4.2. Physiological vaginal discharge is white, odorless and does not cause either itching burning or any other discomfort. The amount of discharge varies with day of menstrual cycle.
This discharge activates pain all over body especially around lumbosacral spine and calf muscles. It may also be associated by PID (Pelvic Inflammatory Disease) and such patients experience pain in and around pelvis and hypogastric region.
Chronic leucorhea causes irritable character, and often may be associated with gastric disturbances and under eye dark circles.

Saraca asoca contains phenol glycoside, which is highly toxic. It has direct effect on uterine musculature. It stimulates both endometrium and ovarian tissue. It is an astringent and uterine sedative. The drug provides great benefit in uterine infections and menorrhagia due to uterine fibroids and other causes.
Mesua ferra is an astringent, an antiseptic, an antispasmodic and demulcent. It enhances diuresis (in cases where patients develop edema)
Chandraprabha vati has tonic effect on uterus and maintains vaginal ph between 3.8-4.5. It is acidic in nature and restores uterine function, without allowing germ breeding. It also allays premenstrual tension. Therefore it is a drug of choice in Pre Menstrual Syndrome.
Mode of action :-
It has a comprehensive formula of extracts that cure leucorrhoea of any cause within 10-15 days of its use in recommended dose of 1 capsule twice a day with milk.
Lucoban with U-cap has synergistic action on uterine musculature. Both being uterine tonic, enhance each other's therapeutic value and reduce the recovery period.
